Merely Into My HAIR

My wash days appear to be coming thick and fast.. I appear to have fallen comfortably into a 10(ish) day wash day cycle. At the moment, anything between 10-14 days seems finest for me and my hair.”

True to type, I determined that I wanted to try out yet one more new product, but this time it wasn’t some hard to seek out magical product, nope it was something I at all times have in my kitchen cupboards – good outdated sunflower oil! Yep, I am talking Flora and it seems my hair Cherished IT!

The picture above shows what my hair looked like at first of my wash day. I’ve been wearing these 10 twists underneath my wig units in the course of the week. My hair has felt comfortable and moisturised all week and I’ve been making use of a mix of castor oil and Taliah Waajid Hair mist bodifier to my scalp each different day.

These are the steps I followed for this wash day:

Craving the White Stuff
So it could only seem like I have only simply started by hair journey but its been 10 weeks since I final chemically relaxed my hair, this is the longest I have even gone without chemically enjoyable the regrowth and i wont lie I am struggling! Though I have never had as much breakage as I assumed I might (I’ve had just a little mainly at the very entrance) its been troublesome on wash days as the two textures of my hair do not agree and take in a different way to products, for example the regrowth can take heavier oils like Olive Oil however it appears to make the ends sticky, stringy and thin wanting. And if I use a lighter oil like Grape Seed I don’t feel like the regrowth is getting enough moisture which can end in breakage! It all is just feeling a bit dry, brittle even.

“After 5 enjoyable months I’ve realised prior to now couple of weeks that I’m kinda over wearing cropped styles – for the time being.”

At the center of this realisation is the truth that I just need to look like me once more! I miss my hair.…. However, it’s not my HHJ hair that I miss, it is my previous pre journey hair that I’m missing so I’ve decided that I want a new full lace wig. In truth, I want two new wigs, this time with the glueless cap development!

Wash Day Diary: elegant haircuts for long hair 10.11.Thirteen @ 16 Weeks Put up

“So this week I decided to clean my hair at round the ten day stage, relatively than waiting for 2-three weeks. I needed to see if this resulted in less tangles brought on by shed hair. I am unsure if it did the trick but my scalp feels nice and my hair is absolutely moisturised so that’ll do for me – for now!”

I did this wash day on Sunday throughout the day as a result of after the tangles I encountered on my previous wash day, I needed to guantee that I had probably the most amount of time attainable to sort out any points if they arose.

Wash Day Diary: 29.10.13 @ 14 Weeks Put up

“The title of this post is wash day diary, however it should be Traumatic Tangles at Ten ’Clock!”
As you possibly can see from the date, this wash day befell nearly two weeks ago but I couldn’t access the doc to add this submit.

I started out this wash day not likely wanting however needing to wash my hair. It had been 2½ weeks since my last wash day and my scalp was appearing up – which was strange for me. I feel that could be all the way down to the all-day baggying treatment I had given my hair on the earlier Saturday – should have washed it then however I thought I might stretch one other week out of it.

Tension Dry Naturals

Hair Day Sunday – Wash Day

Hair Day Sunday – my new wash day, I have slightly more time on Sunday’s when The Mister is about and may give me a helping hand with the little lads.

I feel my wash day routine will be to try these merchandise, trial them for 6 weeks and overview how I get on with them at the end and alter where I feel acceptable.

I’m not a products junkie like Tracey, my products are both Tracey’s casts off of merchandise which have not labored for her but may for me, stuff on particular supply or things I’ve been utilizing for thus lengthy that I have forgotten why I exploit them in the first place!

Relaxer be GONE!
In order I discussed in my intro my darling sister has let me free on her weblog..she’s brave! I lately determined to try and grow the relaxer out of my hair and go back to my pure texture, to be honest I do not even know what my pure texture is even like anymore as I began relaxing my hair early in my teens and have relaxed my hair myself just about every 6 weeks since.

My hair is not in a foul situation contemplating, its tender however may be very dry and generally brittle, I’ve wanted to develop the relaxer out for just a few years now and much more so now as I’ve started to get an increasing number of grey hairs (which I have renamed platinum blonde strands!) I didn’t need to should loosen up in addition to color.
